Official Languages Assessment

DELF and DALF Diplomas:

The DELF and DALF are diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to prove the French-language skills of non-French candidates.

The DELF is composed of four individual certificates that have been harmonized with the European standards corresponding to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).

There are six independent diplomas, which correspond, respectively, to the six levels of the Council of Europe' s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).:

For detailed information about each level of these diplomas, visit the CIEP website (Centre International d'Études Pédagogiques).
